  001.  ﾠ I'm a slow writer, and I have other responsibilities outside of writing. Please expect some wait time on your reply, as my inspiration for writing tends to be all over the place. I may also take more or less time to reply depending on how well I know you, how plotted the thread is, etc.  002.  ﾠ Feel free to reblog my threads as long as you do not add anything to the reblog. That said, others might care, so reblog with discretion. Of course, if you have any thoughts, I'd love to hear them in the tags. I'm glad you guys are liking my writing. ♡  003.  ﾠ Please use minimal formatting. I'm fine with small text and some color, but anything more makes the reply difficult to read. I probably will not follow you first if you format heavily.  004.  ﾠ I am not my muse. I do not stand by anything Curufin says, nor is the relationship between him and your muse a reflection of our relationship. He is a mean person, and I understand his hostility can be hard to deal with. If you want a change in dynamic, tell me directly and I will oblige.  005.  ﾠ Do not make dash commentary about my characters if we have not written. I'm serious about this. It's weird, it makes me uncomfortable, just don't do it. We aren't friends. I don't care that this is "rpc tradition" and I don't care how hard your life is. I'm based out of the US (CST/GMT-6), and I've been in the Silm RPC since 2023, so I am quite new. I've been actively roleplaying since approx. 2016, and I joined tumblr roleplaying in 2022. He looks less muscular than he actually is.  ATTIRE   His typical outfit consists of a dark red, high collared shirt with gold trim, dark pants, and black gloves which he rarely takes off. Multiple gold earrings decorate his ears, and on his lobes are two large Fëanorian star earrings. Curufinwë Atarinkë

  Prince Curufinwë,   known as Curufin in Beleriand, is the fifth of Fëanor's seven sons. He is the most similar to his father compared to the rest of his brothers, having inherited much of his mood and face, as well as many of his fathers skills in both speech and creation. Curufin finds delight in both his study and his forge, and will often spend long hours in seclusion working on his own projects. He is pragmatic, diligent, tenacious, willing to go to unspeakable lengths to achieve any goal he sets his mind upon, especially in the name of family.He was born in 1300 in the Year of the Trees, a few weeks before the birth of Finrod Felagund. Even as a child, Curufin was peculiar, preferring the company of his father to anyone else. He often idolized Fëanor, following him wherever he went, and picked up on many of his father's interests and skills. Many remarked on their similarities, and Curufin prided himself upon this fact.Much to Curufin's dismay, after he reached his majority, he was quickly married off to a woman named Mórindil Alassandilmë, another renowned scholar in the field of linguistics whom Fëanor was acquainted with. They had a son soon after, though their relationship was virtually nonexistent, each loathing the other's presence and being content with their own company. Although he mainly passed the actual responsibility of fatherhood onto servants, it was mainly Curufin who bonded with their son, and Curufin whom Celebrimbor would follow after.When the Silmarils were stolen, Curufin swore the Oath without second thought, and was eager to follow his father across the Sea to unknown lands. He had little qualms in slaying their kin, and when Fëanor woke him and a few of his most trusted servants to burn the swanships, Curufin obliged. Later, he would claim that he does not know which torch had set ablaze the ship that held Amrod, though he spared little pity for his deceased brother. It was cowardice that led to his doom, he would say; if Amrod had gone with them to the shores of the new land, he would have been spared.He followed Fëanor to Thangorodrim, slaying any enemy that stood in his way, yet was unable to save his father from being mortally wounded by the Balrogs of Morgoth. Curufin and his brothers carried Fëanor to the slopes of Ered Wethrin, and Curufin held his father as his body caught ablaze. If it were not for the forceful intervention of his brothers, here Curufin would've perished as well. Instead, he was dragged away from Fëanor's burning body, with severe burns on his limbs and on much of his chest. He spent many months bedridden, requiring the constant care of servants for his injuries, and only years later did Curufin recover enough to take up the hammer again. He covered his hands with a pair of black gloves when they had finally healed enough, and to this day rarely takes them off. Even now, with his dexterity almost fully recovered, Curufin still suffers from soreness in his hands, a reduced sense of feeling, and he is generally prone to being cold due to his nerve damage.Curufin, along with Celegorm left for Himlad, where they established a fortress at the Pass of Aglon as a strategic defensive position. Many years would pass in peace, until the Night of Sudden Flame, where Celegorm and Curufin were forced to flee to Nargothrond with what remained of their people. It was here that Curufin began to sow the seeds of evil, and with his brother managed to convince the people of Nargothrond to stay behind as Finrod left with Beren and twelve others. So too did he kidnap Lúthien, daughter of Thingol, intending to force a marriage between her and Celegorm so that Doriath will ally with them. However, Lúthien escaped, and Celegorm and Curufin are eventually driven from Nargothrond. It was here that Celebrimbor swore off any relation to his father.They fled to Himring, but did not have refuge for long, as the Sons of Fëanor were forced to retreat to Ossiriand after the Nirnaeth Arnoediad. Eventually, Celegorm proposed an assault on the weakened Doriath, now without Thingol as their king.
